SavvySitters emerged from the vision of providing convenient assistance to families in the Brazoria County area. As an active member of our community, I observed a growing demand for a swift and reliable babysitting service, particularly within my own family. Despite the various options available in our community, none seemed to perfectly align with the specific needs I sought.
Motivated by the desire to address this demand, SavvySitters was established to fulfill the uncomplicated yet crucial tasks essential for families in our community. Surrounded by numerous young family members, childcare has consistently remained my top priority, shaping me into the person I am today.
SavvySitters represents a modest endeavor in achieving the myriad goals I aspire to in life. It serves as a testament to my commitment to making a positive impact, a commitment that extends beyond the realm of babysitting. Looking ahead, I plan to pursue a career in pediatric dentistry, building upon the foundations of care and support established through SavvySitters.

SavvySitters operates as a Limited Liability Company. Our sitters are engaged as independent contractors and do not serve as representatives of SavvySitters.
SavvySitters provides a comprehensive array of services including babysitting, house sitting, pet sitting, errand running, and regular positions. Nevertheless, our scope extends beyond these specified services to encompass a wide range of tasks. This can involve activities such as assisting with seasonal tasks like taking down Christmas lights, aiding families with household chores such as laundry or any additional requests, and even providing support in preparing for special events like birthday parties.
SavvySitters is developing a web application that allows parents to download our sitter app on any mobile device via a link found on our website. This app will serve as the central platform where parents can submit their sitter requests upon approval. Our goal is to offer parents a simple and seamless way to request any services.
To access our sitter care services, simply complete the parent registration form. Once your registration paperwork is submitted, our admin team will promptly reach out to you. If approved, you can proceed to sign up for a membership.
If you don't use your weekend day from the membership you've purchased, it cannot be transferred to a weekday. However, if your family needs an extra day during the week, you can either upgrade your package or purchase an additional $25 single-day pass for any day of the week.
Families welcomed into SavvySitters can easily request a sitter through our user-friendly application, customizing the pay rate to match their child's age and needs. Set your preferred hourly price range for the requested job, and payments to sitters are facilitated directly by the family. The majority of the jobs typically entail a payment range between $13 to $15 per hour.
You retain the option to end your membership within the initial two months from enrollment, subject to a cancellation fee of $50. To initiate the cancellation process, log into the portal and navigate to "Cancel My Membership" under your current subscription.
At SavvySitters, we do not directly pair sitters with families. Instead, when families post job openings, sitters can choose and secure the opportunity on a first-come, first-served basis. Consequently, families do NOT have the option to select their preferred sitter, underscoring the importance of our commitment to hiring highly qualified and reliable sitters. However, based on your membership parent retain the option to favorite sitters for priority notification.
All hired sitters are required to be 18 years of age and hold current CPR and First Aid certifications. Additionally, a $45 new hire fee covers an annual background check, a required T-shirt, and company bag. Subsequently, beyond the initial year, a $20 background check remains a requisite.
To ensure the best chance of securing a sitter, we ask that all families submit their requests at least 24 hours in advance. While our sitters strive to accommodate requests, jobs are accepted based on availability and preference and are not guaranteed.
